Peterson pipes - 2007/01/28 03:33 I'm a fairly new pipe collector with a small, growing collection. I've got one Italian briar and one meerschaum, plus a couple cheapos.

I'm intrigued by Peterson pipes, but I know next to nothing about them. What makes them good? What justifies the high prices I've seen for them? Is it materials--are some of them natural briars? Is it innovative design?

I'm thinking of adding one to my collection, but I like to know exactly what I'm jumping into with such an important and expensive addition.
